About this course

This course teaches everything a tester needs to know about using Quality Center.

At the end of this 2-day course you will know how to manage all aspects of your testing projects in QC. You will learn how to document your requirements and plan your application releases. You will also understand the best practices of writing test scripts, executing them, and logging and managing defects (bugs).

We will use practical examples and exercises to get you to practice what you have learned, using a demo application.

Intended Audience

This course is designed for testers interested in using the industry leading test management tool.

• Know how to use all modules of Quality Center.
• Learn how to import existing test data and reuse it in Quality Center, without retyping all your existing documented tests.
• Understand the usage and benefits of using version control for your QC test scripts.
• Learn how to execute QTP (Quick Test Pro) automated tests from Quality Center.
• Understand how to create reports in Quality Center to mesure testing project progress and other important KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
