Where are the training courses held?

Courses are held in London, Reading, Bristol and Oxford. We tend to stay around the M4 corridor.

When is the next available course?

We conduct courses all year long. Check out the column on the right for the upcoming courses.

Do you offer weekend courses?

Yes, based on demand.

Will you come train in my workplace?

What support do you offer for finding a job?

Students in our Career Change courses will benefit from the following support to get them ready for their next job:

  • An introduction to the IT job market.
  • Assistance in searching for a job.
  • Interview preparation and simulation.

All our students are entitled to 3 months email support after the course (on relevant course material, terms and conditions apply)

What material is provided?

We provide all training material which includes slides and notes. Participants may keep this material.

What do I need to bring?

We provide a desktop with all required software and training material. There is no need to bring a laptop.

What background and experience do I need to have?

It depends on the course, but most of our basic courses require no previous knowledge or experience. Check the courses description pages for more information.

How much time of the course is spent on hands-on learning?

There will be plenty of time to practice the theory taught during the course. You will be hands-on with the tools from day 1.

What certificate do you offer?

GIE Training will grant participants who complete the full course a certificate of participation.

Do you offer HP qualifications?

No. You can take HP certification exams in prometric centres across the UK.

What is the difference between the Advanced QTP and Complete QTP courses?

Advanced QTP is intended for users with basic knowledge and experience with QTP. the Complete QTP course does not require any previous knowledge or experience in QTP, as the first days are dedicated to the Introduction to QTP course material.
